Santa Claus Bringing Household Gifts For Your List
Cozy Up Your Home with Santa’s Favorite Household Gifts
Every year when Christmas rolls around, you may ask the kids in your family what do they want Santa Claus to bring them. However, do you ask the adults what they want Santa Claus to bring them? We tend to think of Santa Claus as just something that we do for kids, however, imagine how much more festive our holidays would be if we all kind of just went with the idea of Santa Claus for the adults too?
While you may not be able to get everyone on board with the idea of being Santa Claus, you can still become your own personal Santa Claus in what you give those on your list. One of the most common items that are sold during the Christmas season to give to those who are on the lists for many people is household gifts. This includes major items like bread makers, microwaves, mixers, and basically any other gadget that you can find in the store. However, a huge part of household gifts are cleansers and even laundry detergents. But, those who give these types of items are actually making them give to others, as this shows more thought went into the gift, and you can dress up the containers in any way that you want!
Homemade Laundry Detergent
This is a powder laundry detergent, but you will find that many people love just how organic and safe it can be. Don’t be surprised if you have people asking you for the recipe or even suggesting that you can get them this for next Christmas!
You will need:
– 2 cups of Arm & Hammer washing soda
– 2 cups of Borax Detergent Booster
– 1 bar of Fels Naptha Laundry Soap
– Few drops of essential oil like tea tree, lavender, or even peppermint
You will need to grate the laundry soap into a mixing bowl. Once you are done with this, then add in the soda and washing booster, add in a few drops of the essential oil and then mix the ingredients. Transfer this to an air-tight container and then viola, you are done with this awesome laundry detergent.
Be sure that when you give this as a gift you add onto there just how much you want to use for the laundry. You will want to use 1 tablespoon for a small or medium load, and then 2 tablespoons for a large or extra large load. It may be best to include a tablespoon attached to the container to make this even easier for the person that you decide to give this to. For best results, most people state that you should add the water to the machine and then add in the detergent and clothes.
So, what do you think? Will you give a household cleaner or even make a huge batch of different DIY cleaners that you can put into a basket as a Christmas gift this year? It would definitely be one of a kind!
